The IEP Command Kit is a $57 digital kit of 15 fill-in letters, forms, meeting scripts, and logs that help parents prepare for the special education process in United States public schools. What we make
We make one product for one moment: the weeks before a parent sits down with a school team to talk about their child. The IEP Command Kit contains 15 documents organized by the three phases of the process (before the meeting, at the meeting, and after the meeting), including an evaluation request letter, a records request letter, observation and communication logs, a pre-meeting prep worksheet, a printable Meeting Question Sheet, and follow-up letters that put a school’s promises in writing.
Every letter comes two ways: as a printable PDF and as an email template you can copy and send. The purchase includes The IEP Ready Room, a free library of short educational videos and reference material that explains how the federal rules work, delivered through a live link with no password. An optional add-on, the IEP Calendar + Email Updates, adds a deadline calendar and two years of alerts when federal special education rules change.
Everything is digital. Nothing is shipped. There is no subscription. The price is $57, once.
Who builds it
The kit is built by a small team working with a special education teacher who has sat on the school side of IEP meetings for years. Credentialed special education advocates review the documents before they ship, and where a document touches a legal timeline, an attorney consultant is asked to check it. Reviewers are paid for their work, and that relationship is disclosed wherever a reviewer is named.
We do not use fabricated personas, stock photographs presented as experts, or edited images that imply credentials. The people described on this site are real, and the descriptions are true. Our founder is a builder and producer, not a special education expert, which is exactly why the documents are written and checked by people who are.
How we check what we publish
Parents rely on these documents at moments that matter, so we hold ourselves to a written standard.
Every statement about federal law is checked against the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and its regulations at 34 CFR Part 300 before it is published, and our guides cite the section they rely on.
State timelines and state forms are published only after they have been verified for that state. Where we have not verified a state, we say so and point you to your state’s procedural safeguards notice.
We never use real families’ meeting recordings, school records, or documents as source material. Examples are fictional or fully anonymized.
Every guide shows the date it was last reviewed. When a rule changes, we update the guide and the date.
We describe what the law requires a school to do. We do not promise what any school will decide, and we do not promise educational outcomes for any child.

What we believe about IEP meetings
The meeting exists for the child. The fastest way to lose it is to walk in like opposing counsel. Our documents are firm on paper and warm in the room: they ask precise questions, put requests in writing, and start the legal clocks the law provides, while treating teachers and administrators as the partners they usually are. A prepared, organized, and collaborative parent gets the best meeting. That is the parent we build for.
